Second quarter 2022 results reporting picks up pace

The Week Ahead - Regional Markets

Earnings are likely to drive regional market activity as they are expected to pick pace up over the coming few weeks. The Omani stock market could witness higher volatility as trading commences again today after several companies reported earnings during the weekend, per the regulatory requirement to publish preliminary financials by mid of the next month following the end of a quarter. Meanwhile, this week, ADIB, Mashreq, NMDC, QIB, QEWC, MARK, and Zain Kuwait, among others, are expected to disclose their previous quarter's financial performance. Separately, Saudi Cables' shareholders will approve capital reduction to amortize accumulated losses.
