The Week Ahead - Regional Markets
The regional equity markets could witness some downbeat sentiment owing to the pressure on global equities and crude oil prices. This week, Emaar Properties' shareholders will consider approving the acquisition of certain assets of Dubai Holding, the sale of Namshi Holding by Emaar Malls, and removing the foreign shareholding limit. Yahsat's BoD is expected to propose an interim cash dividend for 1H 2022, while Borouge's shareholders will likely approve the 2Q 2022 dividend.
